In the same vein as my Latin and Greek courses, I will be offering this summer a reading course in German. I spent four years studying theology and classics in Germany at the University of Tübingen and have long had a passion for all things German, theological works in particular. Many have called my excitement infectious (or worse things!); I hope to see you in a course this summer.
Here is the syllabus that includes the texts, goals, cost, and other logistical details. We will work backward through some of the classic authors and texts to Luther himself, in many ways the fons of German theology.
The current time planned is Wednesday 4:00-5:45 CST; however, I am also considering moving this to Tuesday evenings (around 7:30-9:15 CST). Please let me know in the survey if a changed time would make this possible for you.
